Sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory.This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Marion Ruth Wool Munker who was born in United States Burlington, VT on December 21, 1918 and passed away on May 30, 2006 at the age of 87.
Marion was the second child of Glen and Theresa Rausch Wool. She had 6 sisters and 1 brother-Jeanette, Ruth, Beatrice, Glenna, Steven, Alice, and Catherine.
Marion received her bachelor of Education degree from the University of Vermont in 1944. She taught second grade in Colchester, VT., Shelburne, VT., Lyons, Ohio and Goshen, N.Y.
In July, 1951, she married Ernest Munker, who was a mailman and church organist. July, 1952, her daughter, Sharon, was born. She gave up her teaching career to be a full-time mother.
Marion did volunteer work in her church-Sunday school teacher, pianist and sang in the choir.
Her hobbies include playing the piano, oil painting and gardening.
In l976, her first grandaughter, Laura was born to Sharon & Robert Neumann. Four years later, in 1980 Jennifer was born.
She became a great-grandmother when Sarah Masci was born on September 1, 2004. Sarah is the daughter of Louis and Laura Masci.
Marion was a loving mother, wife and doting grandmother and great-grandmother. An amazing person, she will be missed by all those whose lives she touched. She will live on in our memories and our hearts.
